WE BELIEVE
IN WHAT IF.

Education should open minds, spark wonder, and help every child see what they could become.

At RAIN SCHOOL, learning is alive. We connect strong academics with creativity, character, and the courage to ask more of the world.

HOW TO THINK.

KNOWLEDGE WITH PURPOSE

Great learning needs both strong foundations and the freedom to explore. We teach essential knowledge carefully, then invite learners to question it, connect it, and put it to work.

That balance matters. When a child can read with confidence, reason with numbers, explain an idea, and listen to another perspective, they can go further in every subject. When they are also trusted to experiment, they begin to see themselves as someone who can make a difference.

THE LEARNING CYCLE

Learning is a process of asking, understanding, trying, and trying again.

01 / 04

Notice & wonder

A lesson begins with something worth noticing: a surprising result, a story, a problem, or a question from a learner. Curiosity gives new knowledge a reason to matter.

02 / 04

Build understanding

Teachers model essential ideas clearly. Students practise reading, writing, mathematics, and subject knowledge, then connect those foundations to bigger questions.

03 / 04

Try, make & test

Learners put ideas to work. They discuss, design, experiment, revise, and learn to see a first attempt as the beginning of a better one.

04 / 04

Reflect & grow

Feedback helps students name what they have learned and decide what to try next. Progress becomes something they can understand and take ownership of.

THE GOAL ISN'T TO HAVE EVERY ANSWER.
IT'S TO KEEP ASKING BETTER QUESTIONS.

THINK IT.
TRY IT.
MAKE IT.

Students need more than one way into an idea. These experiences let them investigate with their hands, communicate with confidence, and discover interests they did not know they had.

A DAY
FULL OF
POSSIBILITY.

Each day has its own rhythm. There is time to focus deeply, time to collaborate, time to move, and time to notice how far you have come.

01

Start together

A welcome, a check-in, and a clear sense of what the day invites us to explore.

02

Go deep

Focused lessons make space for explicit teaching, practice, questions, and thoughtful challenge.

03

Move & connect

Time to play, move, talk, and build the friendships that make learning feel safe.

04

Make meaning

Creative work, collaborative projects, and reflection help learning travel beyond the page.

07 / THE RAIN WAYHOW WE LEARN

BUILT FOR
THE BRAVE.

A learning culture that gives ideas room to grow and every student a reason to take part.

01

Ask better questions

We make room for curiosity and give students the confidence to follow it.

02

Learn by doing

Ideas become real through experiments, making, discussion, and reflection.

03

Grow together

Belonging gives every learner the freedom to try, contribute, and shine.

04

Think beyond school

Learning connects to the world students live in and the one they will shape.

08 / QUESTIONS INTO ACTIONWHAT LEARNING CAN LOOK LIKE

IT STARTS
WITH WHY.

A strong question can bring subjects together. These example prompts show how students might research, calculate, create, and communicate around one meaningful challenge.

A / 01
SCIENCE + COMMUNITY

How could we make our neighbourhood greener?

Measure, research, sketch, debate, and propose a change that responds to a real place.

A / 02
LANGUAGE + ART

Can a story change the way someone sees the world?

Read closely, write with purpose, and use image and voice to make an idea felt.

A / 03
MATHS + DESIGN

What makes a bridge strong?

Use shapes, forces, calculation, and repeated prototypes to turn theory into something tangible.

GROW.

A child learns best when they feel safe enough to try and supported enough to keep going.

Belonging is built in ordinary moments: a teacher who notices a quiet question, a classmate who makes space, a family whose insight is heard. We want students to know that their ideas matter and that asking for help is a strength.
